Over the past several year's the EJC's Poultry Worker Justice Project has worked closely with poultry processing workers, community-based groups, and labor organizations in Mississippi, to advance the employment rights of poultry processing workers and to lay the groundwork for a poultry workers' center in Mississippi.  The goal of this poultry workers' center is to bring diverse workers together across lines of race, nationality, language and immigration status and give them access to the knowledge, skills, and resources that will enable them to advocate effectively for themselves in the workplace and in the community.
