The articles below describe the improper firing of hundreds of immigrant workers in Canton, Mississippi in August 2003, resulting from the company's erroneous response to a Social Security "no-match letter."  Eventually, action by the workers' union, assisted by the Equal Justice Center, forced the company to agree to reinstate the fired workers.
