Fellowship Supports New EJC Attorney in San Antonio

Claire Rodriguez, a May 2011 graduate of the University of Texas Law School, has been awarded UT’s Julius Glickman Fellowship in Public Interest Law. With this two-year fellowship, Claire joins the Equal Justice Center’s San Antonio office to bring justice to low-wage workers in the tourism industry. A native of Houston, Claire brings a wealth of prior experience to this new work at the EJC, including previous advocacy for low-wage workers through the EJC’s Transnational Worker Rights Clinic at the University of Texas Law School; through the Southern Migrant Legal Serices program; and through UNITE-HERE the hotel and restaurant workers’ union. We are very proud to have Claire join our staff!
